Description
In this course of 8 lessons, students learn what electricity is, how it works, what it does for us, where it comes from, and how it gets to our houses. Safety is emphasized throughout the course. Students learn basic circuitry, such as wiring a light and switch, wiring a receptacle, and wiring a 3-way switch circuit. Many clear, simple diagrams help explain the topics. A “field trip” to see various electrical construction and installations is part of this course plan. This teacher’s manual includes copies of all student material, teaching notes, a reproducible quiz and test, and an answer key. 69 pages; coil-bound; paperback; 2016 edition.
