There is quite a bit of overlap between the two, sharing some of the same projects. This book has more of some categories but no aircraft. How to Teach Art to Children (Grades 1-4)
This book has concise step-by-step directions for 96 simple art projects. A materials list is provided for each project. Lower and middle grade teachers will be able to get a lot of good ideas from this book. Students will make things out of construction paper, mix colors and paint, mold clay, create a collage, etc. For some of the projects, there is a black-and-white page provided to copy and use as part of the project. This book is divided into two parts. Part 1 is Learning About the Elements of Art and Part 2 is Using the Elements of Art. 160 pages, paperback, one per classroom.
