Description
In this course of 8 lessons, students learn the types of standard woodworking tools, their safe use, and their practical application. They learn about basic wood types, fasteners, types of joints, and wood finishes. Students will complete one project. Designs, cut lists, and instructions are included for two options: a small stool and a compact cabinet. This teacher’s manual includes an introduction for the teacher, teaching plans for each lesson on the left pages, copies of student book material on the right pages, and oral quiz instructions. Student and teacher books have pages for notes and diagrams. The course is flexible enough to tailor it to the ability and experience of the teacher and students. You can choose a different type of project than the two listed. 31 pages; coil-bound; paperback; 2005 edition.
