Mathematics 8 LightUnits 801-810
Math LightUnit 801 tests and reviews concepts that should be mastered in seventh grade to verify readiness for the 8th grade level. The remaining LightUnits review previously taught concepts and introduce new skills and concepts in incremental, continuously reviewed steps. The metric system and the U.S. system of measurement are taught simultaneously. This full-year course contains enough pre-algebra to be an excellent prerequisite for any Algebra I course. Students who satisfactorily complete this course will also be prepared for high school geometry and/or consumer math. LightUnit 810 teaches practical business skills such as writing checks, budgeting income, and balancing an account. LightUnit themes encourage integrity and generosity in personal and family finances. Set of ten LightUnits.

Mathematics Diagnostic Tests 100-400
Diagnostic tests are used to place students in CLE curriculum. Tests 100-400 are for students in Grades 1-5. A student ready to enter grade 2 should be given the grade 1 test, a student ready to enter grade 3 should be given the grades 1 and 2 tests, and so on. (A student ready to enter grade 6 should take the grade 4 and grade 5 tests, so in that case you need both levels.) A teacher’s manual is also needed for testing.
